Heritage Awards Dinner

2012hawebWe are excited to announce that we will be combining our annual fundraising dinner with our Heritage Awards Ceremony for 2013. The evening will include dinner, silent auction, and presentation to this year’s Heritage Award winners. These awards are given only to building owners, companies and individuals who have shown the highest standard of preservation in their projects. If you haven’t been to the ceremony before, it’s a wonderful show that will leave you feeling inspired and motivated by the display of commitment.
The Heritage Awards Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at The Leonardo, a 2012 Heritage Award winner.

We are excited to showcase this year’s most impressive preservation projects from the around the state, and tie our fundraising efforts in closely with our mission of preserving, protecting, and promoting Utah’s historic built environment. The purpose of the Heritage Awards is to recognize those projects, organizations, agencies, and individuals that exemplify the highest standards within the preservation movement. Utah Heritage Foundation distributes and accepts nominations from November to December for projects completed in the previous year.

TICKETS and TABLES

Heritage_Foundation_122web Tickets are now only available for $100 at the door.  One ticket is included with the All-in-One registration for the Utah Preservation Conference. 

Individual tickets are $85 and table sponsorships are available at $1,000 and $2,500 for tables of eight guests, and $5,000 for two tables of eight guests.

There are no physical tickets for the dinner and awards ceremony. Please check in when you arrive. Please contact us if you have any dietary restrictions, or if you have special seating requests. Business attire is suggested for the dinner.  Please RSVP by May 6, 2013.

7:00 – 8:30 p.m. – Dinner and Awards Ceremony

SILENT AUCTION

We are excited to announce that this year’s auction will feature past award winners and businesses that support historic preservation. Be sure to join us at Heritage Awards on May 9 to bid on these amazing items!

PARKING

The Leonardo, formerly the Salt Lake City Main Library, is located at 209 East 500 South, Salt Lake City. Heritage Awards attendees can park at the Salt Lake City Library parking lot, entering on 400 South eastbound.  Additional metered, street parking is available.  Please note 300 East, between 400 and 500 South, is closed because of construction.  No free or discounted parking is available.

TRANSIT

We also encourage attendees to use any one of the public transit options available for reaching the Leonardo. Particularly, UTA's Trax Red Line Library Station is very convenient; additionally, bus routes surround the area. Visit the UTA website for specific route information.

WINNERS

Winners will be notified by early March. Owner’s of Heritage Award winning projects will receive two complimentary tickets to the dinner and awards ceremony.
