From its early days as the stately boulevard of extravagant mansions, South Temple has witnessed significant architectural change. This guided walking tour will tell the story of South Temple’s progression into Modernism between 1925 and 1975, highlighting buildings that display various aspects of Modernist design. Starting from the Masonic Temple, the tour will focus on a five-block area from 300 East to 800 East on South Temple.
